2012 - St. Maur's U13 in action against Good Counsel https://www.derekbalfe.com/blog/2012/2/2012---st--maurs-u13-in-action-against-good-counsel

27/02/12 - Sunday afternoon with a 1 O'Clock meet they U13 footballers headed for Walkinstown for a back match against good Counsel.

The lads turned on one of the best team performances for a while running out comprehensive winners in the end. Special mention to Culann Noonan, Finbar Harford and a man of the match performance from Matthew Hughes.

Great performances all round with all playing their part when called upon.

Half of the team then went on to Gormanston to compete in their last ever match of the indoor hurling tournament. The team finished joint 3rd and was also rewarded when Finbarr Harford accepted the prestigious honour of being named Player of the Tournament.

St. Maurs Senior Footballers in opening day action in AFL1 https://www.derekbalfe.com/blog/2012/2/st--maurs-senior-footballers-in-opening-day-action-in-afl1

26/02/12 - St. Maur's got their new historic season underway in AFL1 with a hard fought draw against Thomas Davis at home.

Having gained promotion for the first time in the clubs history to the elite tier the side showed they are not there to make up the numbers.

With 3 players sidelined due to their Dublin U21 commitments, they team was inspired by some superb play from Oisin McGinty, Conor Maguire, Niall Welsh and Mick O'Malley.
